It is apparent that we are living in an era of information explosion. There is a famous remark that "A wealth of information creates a poverty of attention”. People in mounting numbers complain that they are lost in the information age.
It is true that the new information age has brought us so much convenience that we are allowed to get plenty of information just with a simple click sitting in front of the computers. Unfortunately, we are also distracted, confused and annoyed by an incredibly large quantity of information. A case in point is that there are so many advertisements on the Internet that we are easily distracted by the irrelevant information of the target website. Again, when searching for something online, people are easily misguided by irrelevant information and forget their original plan.
Briefly speaking, it is imperative for us to use Internet in a reasonable way and restrain from overindulgence. After all, the Internet is invented to connect you and me, to bring conveniences to our life rather than set a barrier to keep people misguided and distracted.
